April ist f\u00fcr mich der Inbegriff des gr\u00fcnen Monats! Alles spriesst, stupft aus dem Boden, w\u00e4chst. Der Jahreszyklus in der Natur beginnt von Neuem. Nach dem kahlen Wintermonaten sehnt sich das Auge nach Farbe und mit Gr\u00fcn werden wir im Fr\u00fchling verw\u00f6hnt, da die meisten anderen Farben in Massen ja erst auftauchen. Diese Mischfarbe aus gelb und blau l\u00f6st bei jedem Menschen bestimmte Gef\u00fchle und Reize aus, die nat\u00fcrlich individuell gepr\u00e4gt sind. Ich z.B. mag die Farbe gr\u00fcn nur im Zusammenhang mit Pflanzen und der Natur. Einen gr\u00fcnen „Gegenstand“ oder gr\u00fcne Kleider besitze ich nicht.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

April is, at least for me, the epitom of a green month. Everything is popping up and growing. The new cycle of nature has started again. After the bare winter months, our eyes are longing for colour. And in Spring we are spoilt with green as all the other colours are still a bit in the background. This mixture of yellow and blue may produce some feelings and appeals which are, of course, quite individual. As for myself, I do not like the green colour for my clothes or other things, but I love it with regard to plants and nature. <\/font><\/a><\/p>\n

Gr\u00fcn ist bekanntlich die Fabe der Natur, des Lebens, des Fr\u00fchlings. Aber gr\u00fcn ist nicht gleich gr\u00fcn. Ich liebe es die vielen feinen Schattierungen ab und zu etwas genauer anzuschauen. <\/font><\/p>\n

Green is the colour of nature, of life, of Spring. But green is not just green. From time to time I like to have a closer look at the numerous and various green shades. <\/font><\/p>\n

Gr\u00fcn zeigt sich u.a. zart hell, gr\u00e4ulich angehaucht, oder mit einem rosigen „touch“, mit gelbem Schatten, saftiggr\u00fcn, dunkelgef\u00e4rbtes Gr\u00fcn usw. Eines ist aber unbestritten und das wusste schon Hildegard von Bingen, eine der ersten schreibenden Kloster\u00e4rztinnen des Mittelalters, dass Gr\u00fcn eine positive (Heil)Wirkung auf K\u00f6rper und Seele haben kann. Mit dieser Erkenntniss wird heute in verschiedenen Bereichen weitergeforscht. (Da die gr\u00fcne Farbe auf das Auge beruhigend wirkt, sind z.B. Wandtafeln in den Schulen h\u00e4ufig gr\u00fcn, ebenso Billardtische, seit einigen Jahren auch Tennispl\u00e4tze u.a.).<\/font><\/p>\n

T<\/font>here are shades of a light green, greyish green or with a pink touch, with a yellow shadow, a lush or dark green etc. It is for sure, and this already Hildegard of Bingen knew (German abbess and polymath in the Middle Ages) that green has a positive healing effect on body and soul. Today there is a continuing research in these fields (e.g., as the green colour is calming the eyes, there are often among others, green blackboards in schools, or green billard tables and indoor tennis courts). <\/font><\/p>\n

Wo finden wir oft die innere Ruhe, erholen sich viele von uns ab und zu von Stress und Alltagssorgen? Bei einem Spaziergang im Wald, beim Arbeiten im Garten, draussen in der Natur.<\/font><\/p>\n

Where do we often make a break, find our inner peace, where do we relax from stress and the every-day problems? Some of us then to go for a walk in the forest, we like to work in the garden and we like to be outside in free nature. <\/font><\/p>\n

Gr\u00fcn ist auch in der Bibel das Anf\u00e4ngliche. Das Wort Gottes bringt am 3. Sch\u00f6pfungstag nach dem Licht und der Scheidung von Wasser und Licht, die Vegetation hervor („Und die Erde lasse junges Gr\u00fcn sprossen“ Genesis 1.11).<\/font><\/p>\n

The story of Creation in the Bible also speaks about the green as the beginning. The word of God created the vegetation on the 3rd day after the coming up of light and the separation of water and light. (Genesis 1.11)

Und jetzt, da alle B\u00e4ume und Str\u00e4ucher wieder ihre Bl\u00e4tter bekommen haben, ist f\u00fcr mich wirklich Fr\u00fchling, auch wenn Schnee manchmal noch alles f\u00fcr eine kurze Weile zudecken kann.

For me it is Spring now, as all the trees and bushes have got their leaves again. This feeling doesn’t vanish even when snow may still cover all the green for a short while.<\/font><\/p>\n
