V\u00f6llig fremd und vielleicht deshalb so faszinierend, ist f\u00fcr mich die japanische Kunst des Blumenarrangierens. Wenn es in unserer N\u00e4he eine Ikebana Ausstellung hat, besuche ich diese meistens und erfreue mich an den wundersch\u00f6nen Blumengestecken (die f\u00fcr mich Laien sehr puristisch und modern, aber auch ausgesprochen \u00e4sthetisch und harmonisch wirken).<\/p>\n

The Japanese art of flower arranging is completely strange to me, but on the other hand it fascinates too. Whenever there is an Ikebana exhibition in my proximity I am visiting it. I love these beautiful flower arrangements which for me, as a layman,\u00a0 look puristic and modern, but very aesthetic and harmonious too.<\/font><\/p>\n

Eine grosse Aussagekraft bei sparsam verwendetem Material zeichnet die Gestecke aus, die nach strengen \u00e4sthetischen und philosophischen Regeln arrangiert und in den einzelnen japanischen Schulen unterschiedlich zum Ausdruck gebracht werden. Die Ikebana Form basiert meistens auf drei Linien, die Himmel, Erde und Menschheit\u00a0 (oder auch Sonne, Mond, Liebe und Erde) symbolisieren.<\/p>\n

There is a great meaning in all these arrangements made with little material, but according to\u00a0 philosophical and strict esthetic rules whose expression differ from Ikebana school to Ikebana school. The Ikebana form is mostly based on three lines, symbolizing heaven, earth and man (or sun, moon, love and earth).<\/font><\/p>\n

Anl\u00e4sslich der Giardina 08 gab es eine Ikebana Ausstellung, von wo auch meine Bilder stammen. Da es mir vorallem um das Gesteck als Ganzes ging,\u00a0 vergass ich die diversen dazugeh\u00f6rigen Ikebana-Schulen aufzuschreiben.<\/p>\n

I took these pictures at the Garden Fair Giardina 08, where they also had an Ikebana exhibiton. I was so fixed to the flowers as a whole that I completely forgot to write down the various Ikebana schools which go with the arrangements.\u00a0 <\/font><\/p>\n

In den verschiedenen Schule werden unterschiedliche Stilarten betont. In der einen ist es die traditionelle, klassische Form, in der anderen hingegen eher die kreative, zeitgen\u00f6sische Form und wiederum weitere verbinden beides. Die bei uns wohl bekanntesten Ikebana Schulen sind Ikenobo\u00a0 (\u00e4lteste, 6. Jhdt.), Ohara und Sogetsu.<\/p>\n

The various Ikebana schools learn different styles.\u00a0 Either the traditional, classic form or the creative and contemporary one and finally the school that combines one another. Here the best known Ikebana schools are Ikenobo (is the oldest one, dating from the 6th century), Ohara and Sogetsu. <\/font><\/p>\n

Nebst den Blumengestecken sind es auch die sch\u00f6nen Gef\u00e4sse die mir jeweils ins Auge stechen. Sie sind \u00fcbrigens auch ein wichtiges Element in der Komposition. Fundierte Informationen \u00fcber die Kunstform Ikebana finden sich im Internet.<\/p>\n

Together with the flower arrangements there are all the beautiful containers that stroke my eyes. By the way, they are an important element of the whole composition. For further and detailed information see the various Ikebana websites.<\/font><\/p>\n
