Jeden Morgen bevor es an die Arbeit geht, nehme ich mir mit Genuss und Freude eine Nase voll Rosenduft mit in den neuen Tag. Der Rambler „Scarman Himalayan<\/em> Musk“<\/em> hat trotz starkem R\u00fcckschnitt im letzten Fr\u00fchling (wir mussten die Hauswand streichen), alles in K\u00fcrze wieder aufgeholt und sucht sich nun den Weg weiter entlang der Hausecken. Erstes Bild ist die S\u00fcdansicht (und in der Mitte schaut noch eine rote Bl\u00fcte der selbsgezogenen Kletterrose „Sympathie“<\/em> in die Sonne) und das zweite zeigt die Ostfassade.<\/p>\n

Every day, before I start my work I go outside and take a deep breath of the sweet rose fragrance which the rambler „Scarman Himalayan Musk“<\/em> is exuding. This is a wonderful beginning of the new day. The rose is growing very fast. We had to trim it back last Spring as our house needed to be painted. But already this year the rambler has reached the same size and tries to find its way around the house corners. In the middle of the first picture you’ll also see – when you are looking close – the red bud of the rose „Sympathy“<\/em> which I grow from a cutting. The second picture shows the east front of the house. <\/font><\/p>\n

An der langen Strassenb\u00f6schung hat es verschiedene Strauchrosen, u.a. oben „Rose de Resht“<\/em> und unten „Fritz Nobis“<\/em>. Der Lavendel allerdings bl\u00fcht noch nicht, er wird es zusammen mit den sp\u00e4teren kleinen Rosen wie „Snow Ballet“, „Alba<\/em> Meidiland“<\/em>, „The Fairy“<\/em> usw. bl\u00fchen.<\/p>\n

Along the street bank are growing various rose shrubs. One of them is on the first picture, „Rose de Resht“<\/em>, and on the second you’ll find „Fritz Nobis“<\/em>. There is also lavender growing but not yet blooming. This will happen when the smaller roses as „Snow Ballet“, „Alba Meidiland“, „The Fairy“ etc. will flower.<\/font><\/p>\n

Jeden Tag kommen neue Rosenbl\u00fcten hinzu. Im Vordergrund ein paar Bl\u00fcten der Strauchrose „Fatin Latour<\/em>„.<\/p>\n

Im Pavillongartenteil sind es zwar im Moment noch die Rittersporne und der Blumenhartriegel und verschiedene (duftende!) Pfingstrosen, die das Bild beherrschen.<\/p>\n

In the garden with the gazebo there actually are the delphiniums and cornus floridus and some scented peonies dominating the border. <\/font><\/p>\n

Auch hier hat die Kletterrose „Climbing C\u00e9cile Brunner<\/em>“ noch das Sagen, aber in wenigen Tagen verschwindet das zarten R\u00f6schen unter der Bl\u00fctenpracht der beiden Stecklinge des Ramblers „Maria Lisa“<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Here too the climber rose „Climbing C\u00e9cile Brunner<\/em>“ is still the main attraction. I’m sure this will change in a few days, when the two cuttings of the rambler „Maria Lisa“<\/em> will have their big show.<\/font><\/p>\n

Noch etwas z\u00f6gerlich bl\u00fcht der Rosenhochstamm „Rosarium Uetersen“ <\/em>und im Hintergrund die Kletterrose „Alchymist“.<\/em><\/p>\n

Still a bit hesitating is the rosetree „Rosarium Uetersen<\/em>“ and in the background the climber „Alchymist<\/em>„.<\/font><\/p>\n

Jetzt auf der Bank am Teich sitzen und dabei den Duft der beiden Strauchrosen „Gertrude Jekyll“ <\/em>geniessen, vermischt mit dem feinen Pfingstrosenduft….da kommt ein echtes Gl\u00fccksgef\u00fchl auf!<\/p>\n

Now a little rest on the bench near the pond, smelling the fragrance of the two shrub roses „Gertrude Jekyl<\/em>l“ together with the fine scent of the peonies….that’s heaven on earth! <\/font><\/p>\n

Auch Bartnelken haben einen bestimmten Duft, der wunderbar in ein Duftbouquet passt.<\/p>\n

The cottage flower dianthus barbatus has a very special and fine fragrance too and is going very well with a scented flower bouquet.<\/font><\/p>\n

Vom Esszimmertisch sehe ich nun auch wie sich die Bl\u00fcten der Hochstammrose „Paul No\u00ebl<\/em>“ \u00f6ffnen. Die ersten Rosensorten aber haben ihren Bl\u00fchzenit bereits \u00fcberschritten und t\u00e4gliches „deadheading“ ist jetzt angesagt.<\/p>\n
