Ein regennasser Monat geht zu Ende, der uns dann am Schluss doch noch die ersten heissen Sommertage brachte.<\/p>\n

June was a month with a lot of rain but the last few days finally were sunny and hot: summer has arrived! <\/span><\/p>\n

Oft war nicht einmal das t\u00e4gliche „deadheading“ notwendig. Windboen und Regen liessen die Rosenbl\u00fcten auf den Boden fallen (Hochstammrose „Paul No\u00ebl<\/em>„).<\/p>\n

Quite often it even wasn’t necessary to do the daily deadheading (rosetree „Paul No\u00ebl<\/em>„). Wind and rain did it for me!

Aber zwischendurch gab es immer wieder ein paar kurze Sonnenstrahlen.<\/p>\n

But from time to time a little ray of sunshine came!<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Holunderbl\u00fcten sind verbl\u00fcht und viele Flaschen Holundsirup wurden gemacht und haben bereits ihre Abnehmer gefunden.<\/p>\n

The elder blosssoms are faded and some bottles of elder blossoms syrup were made and have found their way to people who like to drink it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Z\u00f6gerlich beginnen die Clematis zu bl\u00fchen. Hier „Piilu<\/em>„.<\/p>\n

Hesitantly some clematis start to bloom. Here „Piilu<\/em>„.

Der Rittersporn ist fast verbl\u00fcht und wurde letzte Woche abgeschnitten in der Hoffnung auf eine zweite Bl\u00fcte im Sp\u00e4tsommer.<\/p>\n

All the delphiniums have been cut back last week, hoping for another, second bloom in late summer. <\/span><\/p>\n

Der Nistkasten blieb leer…wahrscheinlich hatte es zuviele Elstern in der nahen Umgebung.<\/p>\n

The nestbox remained empty…probably there are too many magpies around here. <\/span><\/p>\n

Der Uebergang vom Garten zur Schaf\/Pferdewiese wird fliessend durch das hohe Gras.<\/p>\n

Due to the high grown grass you cannot recognize anymore the exact boundary between our garden and the meadow for the sheep and horses. <\/span><\/p>\n

Im Teich bl\u00fchen zur Zeit keine weissen Seerosen, ich musste sie herausnehmen Bin froh, hat es wenigstens diesen gelben Farbtupfer der Teichrosen (Nuphar lutea<\/em>).<\/p>\n

In our little pond I miss the white flowers of the nymphaeas<\/em> which I had to take out. But I am glad that there is at least a coloured spot in form of this nuphar lutea<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Einige Gartenbesuche im Zusammenhang mit der offenen Gartent\u00fcr wurden gemacht (davon dann sp\u00e4ter einmal) und wunderbare Eindr\u00fccke leben in Gedanken weiter.<\/p>\n

I was lucky to visit some other gardens which opened their doors (reports will follow later on) and I came back home with a lot of wonderful impressions. <\/span><\/p>\n

Erstmals bl\u00fcht meine gr\u00fcne Rose („Viridiflora“<\/em>).<\/p>\n

For the first time I see my green rose blooming („Viridiflora“<\/em>). <\/span><\/p>\n

Im Schattengarten sucht sich der kleine Rambler „F\u00e9licit\u00e9 et Perp\u00e9tu\u00e9<\/em>“ einen Weg durch den Trompetenbaum (Catalpa<\/em> bignonioides<\/em>) nach oben ans Licht.<\/p>\n

In the shadow garden the little rambler „F\u00e9licit\u00e9 et Perp\u00e9tu\u00e9<\/em>“ is searching the light and the way up through the Catalpa<\/em> bignonioides.<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n

Die einzige Mohnbl\u00fcte, welche die Aussat letzten Herbst \u00fcberlebt hat. Sie sieht etwas anders aus als im letzten Jahr. Mir gef\u00e4llt sie fast noch besser.<\/p>\n

The only annual poppy which survived the seed of last autumn. The flower looks a bit different than the one of last year. But actually I prefer this colour even more. <\/span><\/p>\n

Und aus Margit’s Samen sind kleine Tom\u00e4tchen geworden, die darauf warten reif zu werden.<\/p>\n

Little tomatoes are growing out of the seeds I received from a blogger friend. I’m now waiting for a harvest!
