Diese Gl\u00f6ckchen des Scheinhasels\u00a0 (Corylopsis pauciflora<\/em>) haben den Fr\u00fchling im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes eingel\u00e4utet. Noch sind die Bl\u00e4tter des Strauches nicht vorhanden. Aber bald werden sie da sein! Durch die w\u00e4rmeren Temperaturen\u00a0 der letzten Tage hat die Vegetation ihren R\u00fcckstand aufgeholt.<\/p>\n

The little bells of corylopsis pauciflora<\/em> rang in Spring though the shrub is still without any leaves. But soon they will be there. Thanks to the warm temperatures of the last few days, vegetation made up lost ground. <\/font><\/p>\n

Der Osterschneeball\u00a0 (Viburnum burkwoodii<\/em>) wird dieses Jahr seinem Namen\u00a0 gerecht. Er beginnt zu bl\u00fchen und herrlich zu duften.<\/p>\n

This year the blooms of the shrub viburnum burkwoodii <\/em>are timed to appear exactly for Easter…and will delight us with its wonderful perfume. <\/font><\/p>\n

Die Hostaspitzen brauchen nur noch wenig Zeit bis sie ihre\u00a0 Bl\u00e4tter entrollen.<\/p>\n

The leaves of the hostas only need a few sunny days more until they unfurl. <\/font><\/p>\n

Die Hortensienbl\u00e4ttchen sind noch winzig klein und die Bl\u00fcten der Zierkirsche (Prunus cerasifera nigra<\/em>) beginnen sich gerade zu \u00f6ffnen.<\/p>\n

The leaves of the hydrangeas still are very small as well as the buds of the prunus cerasifera nigra<\/em> which are on the way to open. <\/font><\/p>\n

Die K\u00fcchenschelle\u00a0 (Pulsatilla) verf\u00fchrt mich immer wieder zum Ber\u00fchren. Bald \u00f6ffnen sich auch hier die Bl\u00fcten.<\/p>\n

I’m always tempted to touch this plant (pulsatilla<\/em>). Soon it will flower too.<\/font><\/p>\n

Die Haselstr\u00e4ucher wechseln ihr Kleid und die Pollenallergiker atmen auf….<\/p>\n

The hazel is changing its dress and all people with a pollen allergy are relieved…. <\/font><\/p>\n

Neckisch zeigt der Flieder\u00a0 bereits welche Farbe er haben wird.<\/p>\n

Mischievously the lilac presents a tiny edge of its colour. <\/font><\/p>\n

Wie kleine Besen winken die Bl\u00e4tter der Bauernpfingstrosen (P\u00e4onie officinalis) . Auf die Bl\u00fctenk\u00f6pfe m\u00fcssen wir noch etwas warten!<\/p>\n

The leaves of the peony officinalis\u00a0 look like little brushes but the buds are still hidden.<\/font><\/p>\n

Johannisbeeren gibt es dann im Sommer. Im Moment zeigt die Pflanze nur wie reich die Ernte sein k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n

Only in summer we’ll have the berries of the red currant. At the moment the plant is showing what kind of harvest we’re hopefully going to get.<\/font><\/p>\n

Aber die vielen Primelntuffs sind schon l\u00e4ngstens da und vermehren sich fleissig! Uebrigens, keine dieser Primeln wurde von mir gepflanzt, sondern haben sich in den letzten f\u00fcnf Jahren einfach hier eingefunden. Wenn das keine sch\u00f6nen Fr\u00fchlingsgeschenke sind!<\/p>\n

All these primulas are here for weeks already and they are multiplying. By the way, I planted none of them. They just settled down in my garden during the last five years. Aren’t they nice Spring presents?<\/font><\/p>\n
