Im Moment hat es nicht sehr viele Rosen im Garten und die paar wenigen werden erst noch unbarmherzig abgeschnitten. Aber dies geschieht nicht f\u00fcr Blumenbouquets, oh nein. Die Bl\u00e4tter werden getrocknet und anderweitig verwendet.<\/p>\n

There aren’t many roses blooming in the garden now. And the few blooms are cut without any hesitation. If you think I do it for flower bouquets, you’re wrong. I dry the rose petals and use them for various things.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nSo zum Beispiel f\u00fcr Badesalz, Duftpotpourris, Rosenzucker und \u00e4hnliches.<\/p>\n

Und da jetzt auch die Tomatenernte im vollen Gang ist, gibt es in der K\u00fcche viel zu tun.<\/p>\n

Konfit\u00fcre (Marmelade) und Gel\u00e9e wurde gemacht, aus Himbeeren und Schokolade.<\/p>\n

Geschenke aus dem Garten werden „gebastelt“ und da es immer wieder etwas neue Ideen dazu braucht, habe ich eine kleine Hilfe genommen.<\/p>\n

Little gifts are made with ingredients from the garden and as I need new ideas from time to time, I bought a book with the promising title „gifts from the garden“.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dieses Buch ist mir vor kurzem in die H\u00e4nde gefallen und jetzt werden die darin vorgeschlagenen Ideen umgesetzt. Auch wenn das Rad nicht neu erfunden wurde, so hat es doch ein paar ganz gute, originelle und vorallem schnell machbare Geschenke. Zutaten sind, wie es der Titel verheisst, mehrheitlich aus dem Garten.<\/p>\n

Da ich aber gerne auch im Garten bin und nicht nur in der K\u00fcche, werden nat\u00fcrlich auch Samen, Pflanzen und bewurzelte Rosenstecklinge verschenkt. Leider kann ich heute nicht mehr schreiben….in der K\u00fcche sprudelt gerade der Zitronenmelissensirup \ud83d\ude09 !!<\/p>\n

I rather prefer to be in the garden and not in the kitchen only and so it’s quite obvious that other gifts from the garden are coming from there. Such as seeds, plants and rooted rose cuttings.
