Es wird ernst. Bis\u00a0 September muss der \u00f6stliche Gartenteil leer und bereit f\u00fcr den neuen Hausbau sein .Vor ungef\u00e4hr zwei Wochen r\u00fcckte deshalb die Gartenbaufirma\u00a0 an mit M\u00e4nnern, S\u00e4gen und einem grossen Kran.<\/p>\n

Now it is definite. The eastern area of our garden has to be empty and ready for the housebuilding in September. So, about two weeks ago, the gardeners moved in with gasoline-engined saws and a big crane.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_5788\"<\/a>F\u00f6hren, L\u00e4rchen, Ahorn und unser „Hausbaum“, eine grosse Esche sowie diverse Str\u00e4ucher wurden\u00a0 im westlichen Gartenteil entfernt um Platz f\u00fcr die Pflanzen aus dem \u00f6stlichen Gartenteil zu schaffen. Ich habe nicht gross hingeschaut, mir tat das Herz weh! Mit Ausnahme der Esche, hatte ich alle B\u00e4ume vor 28 Jahren selbst gepflanzt.<\/p>\n

Pine-tree, larchs, maples and an ash-tree (our house and main tree) as well as some bushes were logged in the western part of our garden. This was necessary for getting some free space for the plants I wanted to „rescue“ from the other part of the garden. I couldn’t look all the time when the groundsmen were at work. My heart was bleeding! With exception of the ash-tree, I planted all the other trees myself. This was 28 years ago.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_5778\"<\/a>Es gab so viel Material, dass ich wohl jahrelang an meiner kleinen H\u00e4ckselmaschine gestanden h\u00e4tte. Wir liessen es deshalb abf\u00fchren. Die nun halbseitig kahle B\u00f6schung wird dann einen Teil der Rosen aufnehmen, die bis jetzt auf der B\u00f6schung im unteren Gartenteil,\u00a0 (der neue Bauplatz f\u00fcr unsere Tochter) standen. Noch weiss ich nicht, ob das Verpflanzen dieser z.T. doch schon \u00fcber zehn Jahre alten Rosen gelingt.<\/p>\n

We got such a lot of material that I could have worked for years with my little chaffcutter and so we got rid of most of it.\u00a0 The now almost bare slope will be the new „home“ for a certain amount of roses which were up to now in the other slope (i.e.\u00a0 in the new building ground for our daughter). I don’t know yet if this transplantation will succeed, as some of the roses are ten years old\u00a0 or more.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_5790\"<\/a>Gl\u00fccklicherweise konnten auf der Nordseite die B\u00e4ume\u00a0 (die beiden Ahorn und eine F\u00f6hre) auf die grosse Wiese gelegt werden.<\/p>\n

On the northern side of our garden,\u00a0 fortunately the two maple trees and the pine-tree could be logged in the direction of\u00a0 the grassland.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_5798\"<\/a>So hielt sich der Schaden in Grenzen.<\/p>\n

So the damages were kept within reasonable limits.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_5799\"<\/a>Das Holz dieser F\u00f6hre wird uns sicher ein paar wohlige Chemin\u00e9estunden geben.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 remaining wood of this pine-tree will certainly be perfect for some comfortable warm evenings\u00a0 sitting in front of the fireplace.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_5786\"<\/a>Mit dem Traktor konnte man dann das Holz \u00fcber die Wiese abf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n

A farmer tractor then took the trees away from the grassland.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_5848\"<\/a>Im F\u00e4llbereich gab es ein paar spezielle Helleborus, die ich aber habe retten k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Some of my special hellebores were in the area where the trees felt down, but I could save the precious plants.<\/em>\"IMG_5843\"<\/a>\"IMG_5850\"<\/a>\"IMG_5880\"<\/a>Nach dem beinahe „Kahlschlag“, der in einem Tag vollbracht wurde, geht es nun an die grosse Arbeit…..auch f\u00fcr mich. Der Rosenpavillon, der im Zentrum des abtretenden Garten steht, muss auf die andere Seite des Hauses gebracht werden. Da ich vor Jahren dabei war als er aufgestellt wurde, dachte ich – etwas naiv – dass man diesen auf die gleiche Weise wieder in Teile zerlegen\u00a0 und dann mit Hilfe kr\u00e4ftiger M\u00e4nner in den anderen Gartenteil bringen k\u00f6nnte. Nat\u00fcrlich habe ich mir auch \u00fcberlegt, welchen neuen Platz er dann dort haben k\u00f6nnte. Meistens kommt es aber anders heraus als man denkt\/plant \ud83d\ude09 ! Fortsetzung folgt…<\/p>\n

After the almost clear-felling, which was done in one day,\u00a0 the big work\u00a0 now begins….for me too. In the center of the garden that I’m leaving is a gazebo which I want to have in my „old“ new garden. When the gazebo was set up,\u00a0 years ago, I watched and helped and therefore I thought\u00a0 – a little naive – we could take it to pieces in the same way and then bring it with the help of strong men to the other side of the house. Of course I was reflecting about a new place for the gazebo. But things never turn out the way you expect or plan \ud83d\ude09 !
