\"IMG_1054\"<\/a>\"IMG_1066\"<\/a>Die diesj\u00e4hrige Gartenreise f\u00fchrte mich in die Cotswolds, „The Heart of England“ wie diese typisch britisch l\u00e4ndliche Gegend genannt wird. Es wurden viele sch\u00f6ne, interessante und abwechslungsreise G\u00e4rten besucht. Einige kannte ich bereits, andere waren neu f\u00fcr mich. Broughton Castle geh\u00f6rt zur letzten Kategorie.<\/p>\n

Last week I returned from Cotswold , a typical british countryside also called „The Heart of England“. I’ve seen a lot of interesting and beautiful gardens. Some of them I already visited years ago, others were new to me. Brougton Castle belongs to the last ones.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_1238\"<\/a> \"IMG_1224\"<\/a>Merriments Gardens habe ich vor vielen Jahren als Neuanlage kennengelernt und nun als „gereifter Garten“ wiedergesehen.<\/p>\n

Many years ago I saw Merriments Gardens\u00a0 when it was opened for the first time. I liked to see how it developed over the years.

I like to meet old\u00a0 „acquaintances“. Hidcote Manor as it had sticked in my memory.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_0738\"<\/a>\"IMG_0753\"<\/a>Ridleys Cheer, der traumhafte Privatgarten eines \u00e4lteren Ehepaares wo wir mit einem wunderbaren Welsh Bread Cake (wurde daheim gleich nachgebacken!) verk\u00f6stigt wurden.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0846\"<\/a>\"IMG_0817\"<\/a>Auf einen Gartenteil von Abbey House Gardens war ich besonders neugierig, sah ich doch diesen vor vielen Jahren noch brach und erst im Entstehen.<\/p>\n

I was looking forward to Abbey House Gardens and curious to see how the forest garden had finally come up. Many years ago I saw it in its beginning, more or less uncultivated.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_1006\"<\/a>\"IMG_0986\"<\/a>Ein besonders interessanter und sehr sehenswerter Garten war f\u00fcr mich Broughton Grange Estate.<\/p>\n

In my opinion Broughton Grange Estate was (is) an extremely interesting and stimulating garden.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"IMG_0955\"<\/a>\"IMG_1156\"<\/a>Kiftsgate Court, auch hier trifft Alt auf Neu.<\/p>\n

Mehr \u00fcber die einzelnen G\u00e4rten dann zu einem sp\u00e4teren Zeitpunkt. Im Moment verlangt mein eigener Garten volle Aufmerksamkeit und will wieder auf Vordermann gebracht werden.<\/p>\n
